The Speak Up Project

Project Tomorrow’s Speak Up Research Project is an array of input opportunities and networks open to K–12 schools and districts’ students, families, teachers, and administrators.
Thematic Research
Our thematic research is inclusive of an array of topics and is open to K–12 students, families, teachers, and administrators. These free, online surveys help schools and districts gather valuable local data to better understand the needs and perspectives of their stakeholders.
Participants’ responses are confidential, and schools receive national comparative data to support planning, program development, and policy discussions. Over 30,000 schools have used Speak Up data to inform decisions at the local, state, and national levels.

Tomorrow’s Classroom Project – Powered by Speak Up
This project is a unique opportunity for a select group of 25 U.S. K-12 school districts to foster meaningful engagement and impact within a collaborative network.
This project allows districts to customize their research approach to define the modern classroom in 2025-2026 and discover what types of learning experiences have the greatest potential to inspire, engage, and empower today’s students. The project will measure how evolving educational practices and learning environments influence:
- Teacher effectiveness
- Student outcomes
- Family engagement
This project is launching with a select cohort of districts, and participation is based on available capacity. If your district is interested in participating, please contact:
Sam Schroeder, sschroeder@tomorrow.org.
