Congressional Briefing

Each year, the Speak Up Research Initiative asks K-12 students, parents and educators about the role of technology for learning in and out of school.
Each year, Project Tomorrow presents Speak Up results to national policymakers at a Congressional Briefing. The first Speak Up Congressional Briefing, sponsored by US Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee Chair Edward M. Kennedy (D-MA), was held on March 21st, 2007. Since 2020, the Congressional Briefing has been conducted virtually allowing for broader participation. We thank our partner edWeb for hosting this annual event.
