Kentucky Speak Up

The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) partnered with Project Tomorrow to develop customized stakeholder surveys aimed at gathering feedback and insights on education technology initiatives in their schools and districts. The KDE uses the findings to report the K-12 Digital Readiness. View the 2025 infographic supported by Speak Up data.
Kentucky school districts will be able to access their own data for continuous improvement efforts. Additionally, they are invited to participate in the KY cohort. The cohort provides opportunities to network and share strategies with others across the state. If you have questions about the KY cohort, please reach out to Ben Maynard at the KDE.
If your Kentucky district is interested in participating for 2025-26, please email our Speak Up Project Manager, Sam Schroeder or you can complete the Participant Form.
Speak Up is an annual research project conducted by Project Tomorrow, a national education nonprofit group that collects and reports on the views of K-12 students, teachers, administrators, and parents on education and technology.
