Pennsylvania Computational Thinking Project

Project Tomorrow, in partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Education, began work in Pennsylvania schools in January 2024. We are in our second year of providing Computational Thinking (CT) professional learning, ongoing support, strategic planning and assessment tools to Intermediate Unit (IUs) teams for work with their districts. The goal is to support classroom teachers in the integration of computational thinking (CT) concepts across any curriculum.
PA Program Overview
The Pennsylvania Computational Thinking Project partners with IUs to strengthen CT across school districts. Through in-person and virtual workshops, we equip IU staff with expertise in CT, coaching methodologies, and district support strategies. Participants then extend this knowledge to 1-3 districts in their regions through professional learning sessions, awareness-building events, and strategic planning workshops.
