Speak Up Day for America’s Teachers
May 10, 2023
It is more important than ever that we listen to the views of America’s teachers on the future of education. Speak Up Day for America’s Teachers, May 10, 2023, provides an easy and effective way for every school and district to gain new insights into the ideas of teachers through an online survey facilitated by Project Tomorrow. Share this webpage with your teachers so they can participate and Project Tomorrow will provide you with an aggregated report on what your teachers are saying and feeling today about new learning models and ed tech use in classrooms.
America’s Teachers, We Want to Hear from You!
Speak Up Day for America’s Teachers is a way for every teacher across the country to share their voice about the future of education and what they need today to be more effective in the classroom. Speak Up, America’s Teachers – this is your time!
All of your responses are secure and kept confidential. No one will be able to identify your responses. We only use aggregated data for our reports, infographics and presentations on key education issues and trends
On May 10th, Speak Up Day for America’s Teachers, Project Tomorrow will share a clarion call to action with school leaders. Teachers are confronted with a complex range of issues daily leading to an increase in dissatisfaction and disillusionment with the profession. Media attention often focuses on the low level of teacher compensation, but we know the issues impacting teachers are far more complex and wide ranging.
On Wednesday, May 10, 2023 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm EDT, join Dr. Julie Evans and panelists from districts participating in Speak Up for an edWebinar. We will highlight the following:
- What Speak Up data tells us about teachers, their current views and experiences, and what they need to be more effective
- How Speak Up data can help you understand the teacher’s voice, generate new conversations, and develop action plans to address these challenges

The Speak Up Research Initiative is the largest collection of authentic stakeholder voices on key educational issues. The project surveys students, teachers, parents, and administrators each year to understand how they view their educational experiences. Speak Up surveys remain open until May 13th—so don’t delay. There is still time to participate.
