Project TestDrive:
National Science Digital Library
Project TestDrive is a national research study on the classroom effectiveness of the online K-12 science, technology, engineering and math resources from the National Science Digital Library. During the 2007-08 school year, teachers will select, use, and evaluate a maximum of 10 online resources from the library. Project Tomorrow will work with teachers to facilitate the TestDrive process, conduct focus groups, and summarize and present findings to NSDL partners.
- Implementation Calendar
September - Jan 2008
Teachers register, participate in just-in-time training and select resources from the National Science Digital Library.
October 2007 - April 2008
Resources are implemented in the classroom and evaluated by participating students and teachers. Teachers and students participate in conference calls and online discussion forums
May 2008 - Jun 2008
Student and teacher evaluations are summarized and reported to NSDL partners. Participating teachers and schools recognized.
