About Project Tomorrow

Project Tomorrow is a 501.c.3 national education nonprofit organization, with a 17 year history of impacting education. As a nonprofit organization we are driven by an altruistic mission and vision for changing the lives of children through science, math and technology education.

The vision of Project Tomorrow is to ensure that today’s students are well prepared to be tomorrow’s innovators, leaders and engaged citizens of the world. We believe that by supporting the innovative uses of science, math and technology resources in our K-12 schools and communities, students will develop the critical thinking, problem solving and creativity skills needed to compete and thrive in the 21st century. We approach our mission through national research projects, the replication of model excellence projects in schools and communities, online tools and resources for students, teachers and parents, and national and regional advocacy efforts.

Qualifications and desired talents

  • Demonstrated interest or coursework in nonprofit organizations, research and/or education
  • Ability to work independently and to be a self-starter
  • Familiarity with Internet research and basic Microsoft Office applications – data analysis skills not necessary
  • Excellent analysis and communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Personableand friendly; works well with others

Project Areas:

Speak Up National Research Project: Assist with the annual Speak Up National Research Project - Higher Education and k-12 recruitment process and data anaylsis. This includes: research, outreach (through social media and email campaigns), and promotional efforts to teacher preparation/education programs at colleges and K-12 schools and districts across the country. As well as assistance with our school level recognition program.

YouthTeach2Learn/Educators Rising California: Help grow the YT2L and Educator Rising California programs through internet research and outreach. This includes: Expanding the YT2L and Educator Rising California presence on social media outlets through creative and targeted messaging, finding related education statistics to help sell programs to potential schools, researching and creating a database of contacts for future program sites.

Grants and Fundraising: Assist with grant and fundraising process. This includes: researching and compiling a database of prospective funding sources, researching grant compliance and eligibility and initiating the fundraising process.
